#OurNorthRoad Nursery learnt a lot about Ramadan during their topic sessions this term. Children learnt the basics about #Ramadan, what it is and why it’s important for #Muslims all around the #world.
Our little learners experienced #sunnah foods, such as dates, olives, honey, figs and pomegranates, and expanded their vocabulary to describe the taste and texture by using words such as sour, sweet, crunchy, soft, delicious etc
A visit to the #Masjid was a must during this learning period, and الحمد لله for having Masjid Abi Hurairah within the school grounds so children could visit any time, hear the call to prayer, Qur’aan recitation, practice their salah actions and making dua ما شاء الله تبارك الله
Following on from the topic of Ramadan, #OurNorthRoad Nursery Staff hosted an enjoyable Eid party for all the little learners! Children enjoyed having their henna applied, faces painted, and most fun of all, a bouncy castle was hired especially for them to enjoy to their hearts’ content!
