It is a well known Sunnah of our Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم to eat healthily and lead a balanced lifestyle, and modern research has shown that eating healthily can have a huge, positive impact on concentration levels, particularly in children and teenagers.
Allah ﷻ stated in the Noble Quran:
“And He enforced the balance. That you exceed not the bounds; but observe the balance strictly, and fall not short thereof.” (Quran, 55:7-9)
Throughout the school, healthy eating and lifestyle are encouraged, and our school kitchen prepares fresh, healthy, and halal meals on a daily basis. There is a wide variety of cuisines available, from Italian Pasta and Pizza to Indian Pilau and Curry. We cater to gluten-free diets, and all our meat is Halal. School dinners are £3.00 a meal. The menu can be viewed using the link to the right, and is also on display at the main entrance.
Students can choose to bring packed lunches if they wish, which must be brought in plain, unmarked containers, clearly labeled with their name. We ask that packed lunches are also healthy and balanced, and please refrain from fizzy drinks, glass containers, or cans. Any foods with high sugar content such as chocolates and sweets are not allowed.
