Child Welfare

Child Protection

All our students are supported with care and concern. Teachers will always carefully monitor the welfare of students both inside the classroom and in the outdoor play areas.

All members of staff are CRB/DBS compliant.

Members of staff conform to the rules of disclosure of concerns in line with the Independent Safeguarding Board. A copy of our policy on Safeguarding Children & Child Protection is available on our website or upon request. All of our staff have completed relevant Child Safeguarding courses.

Has someone done something online that has made you or a child or young person you know, feel worried or unsafe?

The NCA’s CEOP Command is here to help children and young people. We
are here to help if you are a young person and you or your friend (up to
age 18) has been forced or tricked into taking part in sexual activity with
anyone online, or in the real world. We also have advice and links to
support for other online problems young people might face, such as
cyberbullying and hacking. Visit our Safety Centre for advice and to report
directly to CEOP, by clicking on the Click CEOP button.

Concerns and Complaints

Whilst every effort is made to ensure we are meeting your satisfaction, we understand and take very seriously any feedback or grievances you may have with any aspect of our school. You will be provided with a Complaints Procedure document which will ensure each matter is dealt with swiftly.

The Complaints Procedure Policy Provides details of the complaints procedure adopted by the school, together with details on complaints registered under the formal procedure during the preceding school year. A copy of this policy is available to download in full from the Policies page on our website.
